ThomKat Fashion and Art Boutique is an expansion of The Ladies Room Resale Boutique that’s located in downtown Lombard.  At ThomKat FAB, we provide a unique and fun environment to buy and rent gowns, suits and tuxedos. Thomkat offers 100’s of different unique, ecclectic, vintage and modern gowns for sale or rent. Our gown sizes ranges from 0 – 24. Modestly priced for both rent and sale.

We believe that all dresses and gowns can be altered to fit. If you need alterations, please call any time to setup an appointment, We welcome product from other places. Types of alterations that we provide:

We can also custom design and create special occasion gowns from scratch or recreate a once loved gown.

 

RENTALS

Gown Rental: Starting at $49.99 and up

Tuxedo Rental: Starting at $99 and up
Thomkat has partnered with Jim’s formal Wear Boutique to bring you a nice selection of suits and tuxedos for sale or rent.

The process is simple as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Stop into boutique to discuss needs and get measured and we place order.
  2. Once Tuxedo/Suit arrives, come try-on to ensure fit. When determine that fit is good, take home, enjoy event.
  3. Drop off to the store before the following Tuesday.
  • Drop off location would be at:

* In the event that the tuxedo does not fit, we can reorder and have shipped the next day at our expense. 

** Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for delivery during regular season. For peak season (wedding and prom), please allow 4 weeks. We can deliver in a rush however it would all depend on availability of the Tuxedo and there would be an additional rush fee.

CONSIGNMENT BYLAWS

What you need to know…

  • 6 months – 1 year contract
  • Clean and on hangers
  • Maximum of 10 items per visit
  • All items must be clean and on hangers (no wrinkles)

Steam cleaning: $15 per item
Steam only $5 per item

Consignment split works as follows:
High End designer brands – 65/35
Items within last 2 years – 50/50
Items over 2 years – 40/60

Consignment Fee per visit:
$5.00 for 1 – 5 items
$10.00 for 5 – 10 items

Steam cleaning: $15 per item
Steam only $5 per item

Your fee covers the following:
1. Time – Research for best price
2. Time – pricing / tagging
3. Time – promote to sell
4. Time – sitting/space on sales floor
5. *Bonus* Time – (if item gets put online)
